CHECK OUT THE “CHICKS” IN PREP
Over the next two weeks, all Prep children will be participating in our Living Eggs Program. Living Eggs provides life cycle education programs that enable children to see chicks hatching from their eggs. Embryo eggs are provided, 2-3 days from hatching. A brooder box complete with heat light, bedding, feed and water is supplied which allows teachers and children easy observation and access to the chicks. The children will be communicating orally, in writing or pictorially the latest developments in their block. This activity usually generates a real buzz among our children and can be a first experience for many.
